A social work minor provides students with foundational knowledge and skills to better understand and address social issues that affect individuals and communities. Students who are interested in the helping professions, human service organizations, and social change work may benefit from this minor. A social work minor is designed to complement a range of majors and disciplines, including social sciences, business, law, education, and public health.
