The undergraduate minor in international studies requires a minimum of 16 s.h., including 13 s.h. in courses taken at the University of Iowa.
Students must maintain a grade-point average of at least 2.00 in all courses for the minor and in all UI courses for the minor. Coursework in the minor may not be taken pass/nonpass.
A minor in international studies requires the following work.

Global Perspectives and World Cultures
Students must complete at least 6 s.h. in courses numbered 2000–4999 from the global perspectives or the world cultures and societies course tables; see Requirements in the BA in international studies section of the catalog.

Students complete 3 s.h. with a University of Iowa study abroad course, one of the courses in the following list, or an additional course numbered 2000–4999 from the global perspectives or the world cultures and societies course tables; see Requirements in the BA in international studies section of the catalog.
