Students accepted to the MFA in interdisciplinary studies may work with the Graduate College to include a self-defined subprogram as part of the new degree title. The self-defined subprogram is a tailored and topical subtitle for the MFA in interdisciplinary studies and typically defines the focus of the students' courses and/or scholarship.
A thesis and final exam are required. Coursework is approved by the student's advisory committee and must be numbered 3000 or above.
