The graduate Certificate in Pediatric Nurse Practitioner—Acute Care requires 19 s.h. of credit. Students must maintain a cumulative g.p.a. of at least 2.50 in course work for the certificate. The certificate is available for post-master's Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) degree students who would like to pursue a second specialty.

The curriculum includes didactic and clinical core courses as well as specialty courses, as determined by the director of the program. Course work and clinical hours are determined by a gap analysis.
